Case Study: How a Los Angeles Dental Clinic Increased Bookings and Followers Through Meta Ads

The Challenge:

A Los Angeles-based dental clinic approached us with a clear goal: to grow its brand presence, build local credibility, and convert that awareness into new patient bookings.

Despite having excellent services and a strong local reputation, their online visibility was limited. Their Instagram following was small, and they weren’t running any paid campaigns to attract new patients. They wanted to:

  1. Increase brand awareness within the Los Angeles area

  2. Grow their social following to establish credibility and trust

  3. Drive new bookings directly through a scheduling link


Our Approach

Our strategy focused on leveraging Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) to drive both awareness and direct conversions.

We structured the campaign in three stages:

  1. Top of Funnel (TOF): Targeted local audiences within a specific radius of the clinic using high-quality dental imagery and service-focused messaging. The goal was to build awareness and engagement with potential patients in the area.

  2. Middle of Funnel (MOF): Retargeted users who had engaged with posts or visited the profile, encouraging them to follow the page for ongoing promotions, results, and patient stories.

  3. Bottom of Funnel (BOF): Drove traffic to the clinic’s booking link through call-to-action ads optimized for link clicks and conversions.

We also used lookalike audiences based on website visitors and engaged users, which allowed us to find new people in Los Angeles who closely matched the clinic’s ideal patients.


The Results

In just one month, the clinic invested $750 across these campaigns. The results were strong across every stage of the funnel:

  • +200 new Instagram followers, improving the clinic’s credibility and trust in the local market

  • Over 5,000 booking link clicks, generating consistent traffic to the scheduling page

  • 15 confirmed bookings, with many more retargeting opportunities created for the coming months

Based on our data, we estimate that around 10% of new followers will convert into paying clients within 90 days — making the campaign not only effective in the short term but also valuable for long-term patient acquisition.


Next Steps

We’re now building retargeting campaigns to reach users who visited the booking link but didn’t complete their appointment. These warm audiences typically convert at a much lower cost per click (CPC), allowing us to maintain efficiency while continuing to grow the clinic’s patient base.
